I said I was going to start my own thing – and so I have. Writers you are welcome to join me every Sunday by posting seven sentences from one of your books, or WIPs. I have so many WIPs I can barely breathe, but right now I’m focusing on only one of them – so in order not to have the others feel neglected I’m pulling from the archives. Here’s SEVEN sentences from my slush pile for The Vampire Lust Club:

The chill in the air made Michael shudder, but he played it off. Didn’t want Morgan to know how much this kind of shit affected him. “You want to make this mistake, go for it. You’re twenty-two years old and I can’t stop you.”

“You may not be able to stop him.” Their mother stood in the archway giving them an evil eye he swore could suck the last drops of blood from a dying man. “But I know damn well I can.”
