I’m in New Orleans for Six Sentence Sunday this go round! Had a rough week of writing, a crazed deadline, but I got it done! Yay! To celebrate, I decided to share six sentences from my contemporary romantic suspense called Chasing Damn. Here goes:
“Don’t you want to know why he needed the money?”
“Nope.” Nikki was tired of playing cat and mouse with Lola’s feelings when it came to Ian. “He always has some pie-in-the-sky excuse for needing money as soon as you get some cash in your hands.”
“He’s not like that.”
“I’ve known you both since I was seven years old, and Ian hasn’t changed one damn bit since second grade.”
