Good morning Six Sentence Sunday. I’m back, and yeah, that’s the big 62 up there. I have been doing this for a while. It’s fun. Gives me a certain day to post. I just need to blog more often. Oh, this excerpt is from my WIP and nanowrimo effort called Chasing Damn. And a shout out to Team Dead to Writes! @EntangledSmackdown
“Mr. Jones,” she extended her hand. “I’m Nikki Chase, cybercrime investigator for the law firm and assigned to your case.” Her hand dangled between them for an uncomfortable few seconds as his head bobbed from her hand to her boobs to her face until he finally realized he was being rude.
“Excuse, me,” he muttered, grabbing her hand and shaking it vigorously with long, swishy fingers and a soft palm. Then he let go and stuttered, “Sorry, did you say Ch-Chase?”
Oh, one of the old boy’s club, she cringed inwardly. “Yes, like in Sterling, Chase and Brown.”
