The last Six Sentence Sunday post of 2012! and it’s from my manuscript called Gideon. It’s just a scene in the middle of the book, but the story is about a vampire struggling to keep a promise to a witch.
“You’ve been a vampire longer than you’ve been anything else. How can you even remember what you were before?”
Rachel came close and he took a step back, away from her touch.
“My world has never changed,” she continued. “From the first night the Watchers dropped from the sky and killed my family and forced me into their beds, I have been the same.”
“Two thousand years and you act like it happened yesterday.”
That’s the end of Six Sentence Sunday 2012!
Very intriguing six. Would like to read more of this. Thank you.
Hmmm. Very interesting. A witch living 2000 years? I want to know more!
