Below is my six for today from my manuscript called The Vampire Lust Club when the hero is getting a lecture.
“What is it with you and being human?” Troy Hendricks asked. “I swear you’d rather be a vampire the way you talk, let alone the way you act. I mean, man, Lucy was hot, and you screwed over her, and for what, Danielle McPherson? She’s one of the craziest vampires in the city. I don’t care if she has a Lake Shore pedigree and a body to die for, she’s poison man, damn vampire poison.”
Michael smiled, thinking if Troy knew vampires the way he knew vampires, the man wouldn’t ask so many questions.
